laying down what isn’t god

When pain and anger take the driver’s seat, our better conscience is no longer in control. When the body is active, so too is the mind—making the body a vessel for life, for spirit.

When our personal life is not aligned with something greater—universal life, or God—we become restless. We fight passionately for what we believe in, yet as we grow, we begin to see that many of these beliefs are temporary. They are not meant to become statues, nor are they meant to become God.

In time, we learn to lay down the material and turn our focus toward what truly matters. Peace in the body leads to peace in the mind, and from that, the spirit of peace emerges—the prince of all things.
